Blame it on Harry Potter

While the computer has been unplugged due to the threat of storms, I technically could've gotten out here and blogged had I not been completely engrossed in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. (I was like this with the other six books, too. In fact, Tater couldn't believe it took me more than 48 hours to read this one. That's usually all it takes.) In my defense, I've worked a couple of days and took a family vacation AND got a horrifically violent stomach virus that thankfully didn't last longer than 12 hours. (During those 12 hours, though, I thought I was gonna have to die to get better. I'm not a puker and I puked. A lot. A very lot.)

I'm back now, though and as soon as I get them onto the laptop I will share pictures from our weekend jaunt to Springfield, MO, the only city I would consider moving to. Or ending my sentences with prepositions in.

By the way, I SO cried virtually the entire last three chapters of Deathly Hallows. Not just a tear here and there, but sobs and hiccuping and snot. I need a life.

Well if it makes you feel any better, I've not finished it either and I don't have all the good excuses you do.

DOOOOOOOOOOOOON't tell me!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't got it read yet. It normally takes me a couple of days at the most to get through one but I'm limiting myself on pages per day so it lasts longer. Hey, it's not baseball, basketball or football season I have to fill my time somehow!

I read it in 13 hours, stopping only to pee and eat. I couldn't put it down.
