Stampede!

Well, the Diva and her 7 little balls of energy....I mean Brownies, are off for a fun-filled weekend in Branson, MO. We're going to visit Dolly's Dixie Stampede (Hillbilly Mom, aren't you just jealous?) where we'll get to sit in the special little horseshoe shaped box right out at the edge of the arena, we'll get special Girl Scout Dixie Stampede patches AND we get to hang out at the super cool indoor water park.

If any of y'all are in the Branson area and see a large mass of women and children walking down the strip wearing purple tie-dyed t-shirts that look like they've been hit with pink paint balls, not to worry. It's not my Big Blogger2 posse . . . it's just my me and Brownie troop. Say hi, but beware, they will be sleep deprived, high on sugar and they might attack.

I am OH SO JEALOUS! I LOOOOOVE the Dixie Stampede. I'd love it even if Dolly didn't own it and make a recorded appearance on the big screen at the end of the arena. I love sitting on the front row and having the horses kick dirt clods and horse turds onto my plate. Yee Hawwwww!

We went to an indoor water park at that big mall-looking place with the indoor mini-golf and the fudge shop and the motel and the big fake violin with all the famous people's signatures. D'ya know what I mean? The kids had a blast. So did HH. So did I, cause I read a book in peace and quiet in the motel.

Hi Diva,
I think it would make a good BB2 posse, the "Blue Eyed Brownies".
I hope you recover soon from the headache this weekedn would have caused.

Lanternlight, oh you should be! Branson RAWKS. If you're a hillbilly/redneck and you like seeing the World's Largest Banjo and stuff like that. Which I do. So does Hillbilly Mom.

Cissy, it wasn't the kids that were the problem. All 7 girls were absolute angels. But it'll be along time before I insist that parents go on such a trip. They were worse-acting than the girls by far!

Hillbilly Mom, I love the Grand Country Plaza Chock Full Of All Things Hokey and Ridiculous! Where else can you mini-golf while eating homemade fudge, watching the traffic on the strip and wondering if that big-ass fiddle really plays?

Jules, thanks!! We did!

Rebecca, the headache wasn't from the Brownies.... I was warned that we shouldn't take parents. Next time we'll know.

(MagnetSisters, y'all know that you weren't the parents I'm speaking of, right? *wink wink*)
