Oompapa oompapa oompapa mow mow

Well, here ya go. My new dark hair that is going to make the grays stand out like diamonds in a goat's butt.

(Humidity's a very rare 35% today so I straightened it. Normally it's a rather poufy black mop thing on my head. I can take a picture of that if you like, too. It's greaaaaaat, lemme tell ya.)

I miss the pirate-y goodness of the do-rag. Not that I'm saying you should cover up your beautiful tresses. Perhaps a more enthusiastic expression, with just a smidge of jazz hands, would sell the look a bit better. Because that visage says to me: "You are really pissing me off, and in about two seconds you are going to find yourself sprawled IN my kitchen floor, wishing I had mopped."

I LIKE it!
My stylist told me once that if a color was too dark, to use a really cheap shampoo like Suave several times. It strips the color off fast. Not that I'm recommending you do that, cause I think it looks great! :)

Your hair looks really great..I love my hair being straightened too..amazing how when we have been blessed with curls we like a str8 look better :)

Hillbilly Mom, I hate doing that whole self-photographing thing and smiling like a goofball. I figure it's just better to scowl for some reason. I'll try to snap one with curls today. And jazz hands.

Recklace, thanks! I had no idea Suave was so stripping! To hear the commercials it's comparable to the higher-priced brands. But then again...according to commercials I can also lose stubborn belly fat with Relacore.

River Rat, thank you!

Cazzie!!!, awwwwww. I don't wanna make you cry!

Thanks for the compliment!

My hair didn't curl until I was 27 and it did it in a matter of 6 months. I never asked for this, but everyone tells me I should be grateful. Hmph.

Anne, thanks! I've gone dark red before - nearly burgundy. But this is the first time I've gone so dark brown. I'm starting to like it more and more each day. I'm hoping it grows on other people, too!

You think I'm purty?! Gawrsh ...
*blush*

Jenn, my eyes popped out! I thought I felt something hit my foot when I was cooking lunch.

I think blonde would look awesome! Go for it!

uh... diamonds in a goats butt?

I need to come to Oklahoma and bring with me a notepad.... with sayings like that - I could make a MINT on tacky t-shirts equipped with those musings...

Personal goal for today: Use this phrase as many times as possible.

I like it. 'Course, I think goths are hot too. I just think the world would be a better place if all women had either red or black hair. Better for me anyway.

We....the people
