I can't really explain it, but there it is regardless.

I'm such a die-hard hoarder that I've never made any money off of a garage sale. I tried it once, but it ended up costing me an arm and a leg going all over town buying my stuff back.
Never again, I say!Stewed Hammhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02289256821313634861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11314587.post-41692130570732250872008-10-22T16:41:00.000-05:002008-10-22T16:41:00.000-05:00I was listening to my main man George Strait the o...I was listening to my main man George Strait the other day, and honest to goodness, I thought, "Why oh why doesn't my good friend Kristin like country music? WHY?"

In garage sale news, the most we ever made was about a grand over 2 days. That was the time we basically threw everything out front including furniture, and then kept what didn't sell. It rocked.Lori - Queen of Dirty Laundryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11688908160171158198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11314587.post-51472928968098304602008-10-22T10:27:00.000-05:002008-10-22T10:27:00.000-05:00The most I ever made was three or four hundred dol...The most I ever made was three or four hundred dollars. I have never lived in a good "yard sale" location. i.e., driveway too steep, not close to a main road.

Country music...grew up with it but I only consider "country" to be people like Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, Statler Brothers, Oak Ridge Boys, Alabama, etc. you get the picture. If it was recorded before the early 90s, then it's country to me (I have issues).

Glad y'all are okay - I feared all of you were locked in a haze of chicken pox!Blondiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16486807986161288074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11314587.post-44543744167577553542008-10-21T19:30:00.000-05:002008-10-21T19:30:00.000-05:00I've had plenty of garage sales..The most I've mad...I've had plenty of garage sales..The most I've made was about $1000.. the least was probably around $100.
Well, Nadine's right.. I hauled a couple boxes of closet-clean-out stuff to my sis-in-law once and she brought me back an envelope with less that six dollars in it.

Now I just let it pile up; apparently I'm a "hoarder."Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02340821935542916485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11314587.post-22512109935089180522008-10-21T16:14:00.000-05:002008-10-21T16:14:00.000-05:00Honey, I live in the country, drive a 4x4 & hu...Honey, I live in the country, drive a 4x4 & hunt. They made $1,000 and in the end they were begging people to take what was left. There was not one single item left after that sale. After all that hard work, the money went to the home to pay for nursing care. Selling the house is next. They were very grateful that she never saved anything.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11314587.post-48605899336909643882008-10-21T14:01:00.000-05:002008-10-21T14:01:00.000-05:00Oh I had one yard sale in my life and I made 50cen...Oh I had one yard sale in my life and I made 50cents.

I've never had one sense.
